Hi folks,

I've created Sifteo-friendly Swatch and CLUT files for Photoshop. These will allow you to safely work in Photoshop's Indexed Color mode by limiting you to Sifteo's specific 256 color palette.

Instructions are included, but let me know if you have any questions.

To expand on this a bit, not only can you use the included swatch file to paint sprites using Sifteo-safe colors, but you can convert existing images using Photoshop's indexed color mode with its various dithering options. The Image Helper tool included with the Sifteo SDK appears not to support dithering, so Photoshop dithered images will more closely match the visual fidelity of the original source image.

Cool, I used gimp, and downloaded the palette image from the website and turned it into a palette in gimp.

You're very welcome, hope you find it useful.

And thanks, Wilton, for the GIMP version!

Is there a chance that someone has put together a color profile to use with photoshop?

Stupid question, but how do I add the SifteoSwatches.zip in to the Photoshop  or the sifteo-palette.gpl in the Gimp ? Ups ;-(
